Ontario Cuts Natural Gas Prices

Published on September 10, 2018

As of October 1st, the Ontario Energy Board will be reducing the price of natural gas by 3.3 cents per cubic metre. In an effort to keep the price affordable, the Conservative government has decided to cancel the cap-and-trade regulations on natural gas. Premier Doug Ford says this change will save businesses $285 a year, and families $80 a year on their natural gas bill.

With this reduction in place, it's more important than ever to ensure your home is energy efficient and capable of saving you even more money. Here at BSG, nothing makes us happier than helping you get the most out of your energy bill. We are able to show you what changes could be made to reduce your energy usage, and we tailor every consultation to the individual needs of you and your home.
